I.S.C.A: Interactive Silk-screen Art.

Acrylic paint, silk-screen ink on canvas, inside a Plexiglas box. The viewer is in front of a painting which appears, and disappears in front of his eyes. It is in constant movement. And as it evolves, it changes color. This extraordinary fact results from the action of heating the inside of the box which in return makes the silk-screen ink react, and as it reacts, the pigments appear, disappears, and change color. It is interactive in the sense that the viewer can choose, the range of temperature inside the box, thus making the painting react at will. He can choose to have a black canvas or not.

The whole point of this painting is to show the viewer different sides of the artwork, he will see the painting turn towards green tones, and details of it that he didn't see while the painting was red tonalities.

This painting (seen above), shows well the possibilities of the I.S.C.A system. The fact that the subject of the paining :Christ, appears and disappears, gives a mystical touch to this painting.
